Shelby County Schools—Shelby County High School in Columbiana, Alabama—seeks a School Nurse to provide direct care in the school health room, manage chronic conditions and immunization requirements, coordinate care, and ensure state compliance.

Position reports to the Principal, Student Services Coordinator, and Nurse Supervisor. Nine-month contract (187 days) with Alabama RN/LPN licensure and CPR certification required.

Qualificações

• Hold a current Alabama license for ADN, BSN, or LPN.
• Clinical nursing experience with school age children is desired.
• CPR certification current.
• Ability to communicate professionally with administration, nursing supervisor, faculty, parents and students.
• Ability to document health services accurately and timely.
