• Attend to ill or injured students and staff with first aid.
• Maintain health records as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Attend to ill or injured students, faculty, and staff, providing required first aid and other emergency care.
• Maintain student health records as required by law.
• Assess health of students and staff through observation and screening.
• Coordinate health guidance with teachers and administrators.
• Establish, maintain, and control the administration of medication in accordance with established procedures.
• Educate Health Department staff, parents, and students on school health policy and procedures.
