Job summary

Nicklaushealth is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide routine patient care, care coordination, and primary prevention interventions within the TCT Healthy Connection program in Dade County Public Schools. The role involves health screenings, documentation, and collaboration with ARNPs, RNs, and physicians.

Responsibilities include administering medications per policy, updating immunization records, and delivering monthly educational programs for students and staff.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in Florida or equivalent license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• First Aid certification within 90 days of employment.
• Level II Background Check.
• Knowledge of CDC and MDCPS vaccine schedules is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care and care coordination under supervision.
• Document screenings, interventions, and patient progress in appropriate records.
• Update and review student immunizations in state registries and CUMMS records.
• Administer medications following policies and procedures.
• Plan and deliver monthly educational programs for students and staff.
• Collaborate with care team to implement plans of care.
