Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed practical nurse with active Louisiana license.
• BLS certification required; willingness to become BLS instructor within 90 days.
• Two years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for ill or injured students and coordinate follow-up.
• Collaborate with RN, school staff, and families to manage health issues.
• Monitor immunization compliance and conduct health screenings as needed.
• Assist in training school staff on health procedures and plans of care.
• Maintain student health records and ensure confidentiality in communications.
