Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and CNA certification. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential to work with students, families, and school staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred or required as stated.
• Basic CPR and first aid knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and care for minor injuries following protocol.
• Administer medications per policy and maintain medication log.
• Assist with health screenings and record vital signs.
• Escort students to and from health room and assist students with disabilities.
• Contact parents or EMS per health services protocols as directed.
• Maintain infection control protocols and safe clinic environment.
• Prepare and file health records and maintain confidentiality.
• Keep daily log of health office activities and referrals.
• Manage clinic supplies and order as needed.
• Comply with federal, state, and district health rules and policies.
