Albuquerque School of Excellence invites applications for a Health Assistant with Front Office responsibilities at ASE East. This role combines student health services with essential front office duties to support a busy school clinic.

You will conduct health screenings, provide first aid, and manage immunization records while coordinating with administrators and parents. CPR/AED/First Aid and NMPED Health Assistant License are required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, and NMPED Health Assistant License.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in medical or school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements health programs and provides health counseling to students, parents, and staff.
• Handles front office administrative tasks and maintains health office records.
• Performs health screenings and COVID testing per ASE and DOH policies.
• Maintains immunization records and coordinates referrals to medical services.
• Ensures infection control and supports emergency first aid as needed.
• Liaises with administrators and health staff to promote student health and safety.
