Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent technical/trade school training is preferred.
• Evidence of a clear record as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
• Ability to interpret and comply with OSHA and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine care, protection, and preservation of the district’s landscaped areas.
• Maintain athletic fields and assist custodians.
• Prepare for seasonal activities like mowing and trimming.

Skills

Knowledge of grounds management

Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions

Proficiency in boiler operations

Basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical repair skills

Ability to communicate effectively

Education
