Job summary

Qualifications

• Must obtain knowledge in nutrition, sanitation, and food service equipment.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• ServeSafe food safety & sanitation certificate required.
• MySchoolBucks POS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion and set up salads, vegetables and fruit cups.
• Maintain organized, clean and sanitary kitchen and cafeteria areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Serve meals and ensure proper portions and accompaniments.
• Monitor temperatures and HACCP records as required.
• Assist with end-of-day clean-up and station replenishment.
