Chartwells K-12 in Neptune, NJ is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker to prepare, present and serve food at Neptune High School. Schedule is Monday through Friday; hours may vary and follow the school calendar. Prior food service experience is a plus, with a $16.00 per hour fixed pay rate. Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is a plus.
• Customer service friendly and efficient.
• Ability to follow recipes and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weights and measures designated ingredients.
• Stores food with proper wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies and portable equipment.
• Ensures proper serving temperatures and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner and relay concerns to supervisor.
