Job summary

Chartwells K-12 in Mesick, MI is seeking an on-call food service worker to prepare, present and serve meals in accordance with safety and quality standards.

The position requires prior food service experience and ServSafe certification, with an on-call schedule from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar.

Pay is $15.00 to $15.50 per hour; on-call, seasonal training offered, and applicants may be eligible for referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is required.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• On-call schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits/vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients; carries pans and plates safely.
• Stores food with proper rotation and dating; maintains sanitation and safety.
