Job summary

Hazleton Area School District is seeking a Food Service Courier to deliver and manage USDA and purchased inventory between schools. You will load and transport meals and supplies to multiple locations, assist in storerooms, freezers and kitchens, and support special events as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid PA driver’s license, and compliance with clearances and health checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and dependability in warehouse duties.
• Possess a valid PA driver’s license.
• Good communication skills; able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Required clearances (Act 24/34/114/151), pre-employment drug test and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage USDA & purchased inventory between schools.
• Assist in receiving and organizing storerooms, freezers and coolers.
• Load and deliver meals and supplies to locations as directed.
• Assist at Special Events and in kitchens or warehouse as needed.
