Job summary

Westminster Public Schools is seeking an ESP - Operations & Maintenance custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming districtwide learning environment. The role requires a high school diploma and experience as a custodian trainee is preferred; duties include cleaning, safety checks, snow removal, and communicating with staff.

The position features 8-hour days, 260 days per year, with a pay rate of $21.65–$25.56 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working as a District Custodian Trainee desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communications by meeting with supervisor and custodial staff daily.
• Maintain building safety, open/close facilities and check boilers.
• Keep classrooms, gym, restrooms, and common areas clean and sanitary.
• Perform detailed intermission cleaning and floor care per procedures.
• Provide services to the District by completing in-building work orders and related tasks.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality of information.
