Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking a General Cleaner to perform daily cleaning and custodial services across our educational facility in Bartlett, IL. You will clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, handle floor care, trash removal, and sanitize high-touch surfaces.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior custodial experience. This is a full-time, second-shift position reporting to the Director.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning techniques and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum tasks across classrooms, hallways and restrooms.
• Perform floor care, trash removal and sanitization of high-touch areas.
• Clean interior/exterior windows and glass surfaces.
• Organize and supply custodial closets and equipment as needed.
• Move furniture for daily operations or special functions as directed.
• Complete work requests and notify management of repairs.
• Assist with setup for events and function spaces.
