Job summary

Qualifications

• Related degree from a technical college or high school diploma or GED.
• Experience of at least 2 years in maintenance.
• Carpentry (painting, drywall, masonry, etc.), Plumbing, HVAC, and other trades.
• Proven maintenance experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, guests, and vendors.

• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up school areas for meetings, programs, and presentations; arrange tables, chairs, and equipment.
• Perform general grounds/facilities maintenance as directed.
• Inspect lights and perform repairs as directed by Facilities Director or Manager.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures as needed.
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are required.
