Job summary

The Orange Southwest School District is seeking a Maintenance Staff member for Randolph Technical Career Center in Randolph, Vermont. The role involves routine preventive and corrective maintenance, upkeep of grounds and equipment, and possible custodial tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Vermont driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, high school diploma preferred.
• General knowledge of maintenance functions including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, furnace repair, custodial, etc.
• Ability to operate power tools, lawn equipment, snow plow and perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Engage in routine preventative and corrective maintenance, care and upkeep of grounds and equipment operation.
• May be assigned general custodial responsibilities and various other tasks as needed.
• Respond to emergency and service calls outside normal working hours including nights and weekends.
