Job summary

Andover Public Schools is seeking a Custodian to ensure all assigned facilities are kept clean, sanitary, and orderly. This role involves performing various housekeeping, grounds-keeping, and facility maintenance tasks. Candidates must possess a valid Kansas State Driver’s License and be able to work in all weather conditions. Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend written and oral instructions.
• Valid Kansas State Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work in any and all weather temperatures and lighting conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
• Report minor/major repairs to Supervisor.
• Assist in grounds-keeping by cleaning debris and snow.
• Move and rearrange furniture as needed.
