Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District seeks a Facilities Supervisor for an elementary campus to oversee custodial staff or contractors and maintain a clean, safe environment. You will prioritize work, inspect facilities, and coordinate maintenance and events.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, handling schedules and reports, responding to emergencies, and supporting renovations. Requires a high school diploma and two years of maintenance experience with a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and two years of relevant maintenance experience.
Equivalent education/experience combination acceptable for essential duties.
Arizona Driver’s License typically required.

Responsibilities

Oversee district employees or contracted workers; prioritize and assign work and assist evaluations.
Inspect facilities to ensure systems operate properly and meet standards.
Monitor, service, troubleshoot and maintain district equipment and facilities; ensure building security.
Provide customer service to staff, principals, parents, vendors, visitors, and students.
Coordinate events, move equipment, perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
Respond to emergency situations and document logs and reports.
Participate in expansion/renovation meetings and staffing for after-school activities.
