Job summary

East Windsor Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Maintainer/Custodian to supervise daily custodial operations, keep facilities safe and clean, and support the district's buildings and grounds.

The role involves reporting to the Facilities Manager, performing minor repairs, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring readiness for events, while working a 40-hour schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of custodial duties and responsibilities.
• Valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily custodial operations and safe facilities.
• Oversee assigned custodians and coordinate tasks.
• Perform minor carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Daily building inspections and report needs.
• Snow removal and ice control for safe entrances.
• Assist with school events setup and shutdown.
