Job summary

School Admin District 35 Facilities and Grounds is seeking a Custodian and District Groundskeeper for Marshwood Middle School in Eliot, ME. The role entails maintaining the facility and grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair both facility and grounds.
• Report damages or repairs needed to Head Custodian/Facilities Coordinator.
• Unlock entrances and prepare areas for the day.
• Sweep, mop, and organize cafeteria and kitchen areas.
• Respond to spills, leaks, and debris promptly.
• Repair sinks, toilets, walls, and paint as needed.
• Inspect life safety systems and extinguishers monthly.
• Open/close building and secure all doors daily.
