Job summary

Innovation Academy Charter School is seeking a full-time custodian to start immediately. The role involves cleaning facilities, setting up for events, and handling light maintenance tasks as needed.

The custodian will respond to building issues during off hours and assist with student drop-off and pick-up as directed. A flexible schedule and reliable teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule with evenings and weekends if needed.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
• Ability to pass a State employee background check (CORI/SAFIS).
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday; overtime may be available.
• Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning the facilities, including trash removal, floor cleaning, general cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Setting up the school and miscellaneous events, and performing other related duties.
• Addressing light maintenance issues as needed.
• Responding to building‑related issues during off hours as needed.
• Managing student drop off and pick up as directed.
