Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Practicing Catholic strongly preferred.
• Floating position serving all Xavier Catholic Schools campuses.
• Hours and workdays will vary, including evenings and weekends for events.
• Strong commitment to teamwork, reliability, and maintaining a positive school atmosphere.
• Able to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks across school buildings and grounds.
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces and common areas for safety.
• Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as light repairs and bulb replacements.
• Secure the facility at the start and end of each shift to ensure safety.
• Assist with set-up and clean-up for school events and community activities.
• Address cleaning and maintenance needs proactively and safely.
• Follow safety protocols and school policies at all times.
• Model a faith-aligned conduct consistent with Xavier Catholic Schools.
