Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings and premises clean at all times.
• Shovels and sands walkways and steps as needed.
• Checks exit doors and panic bars daily.
• Raises and lowers the United States flag.
• Sweeps classrooms and cleans all chalk boards.
• Cleans restrooms and locker rooms daily.
• Cleans halls after school and during the day as required.
• Washes windows at least once a year.
• Keeps grounds free of rubbish.
• Maintains floors in clean condition.
• Makes minor building repairs.
• Reports needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Reports damage to school property.
• Remains on premises during school hours.
• Responsible for opening and closing building each school day.
• Keeps inventory of supplies, equipment, and fuel.
• Moves furniture or equipment as required.
• Complies with law for disposal of trash.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
