Job summary

Noble Independent School District 40 is seeking a Custodian to perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds under supervision of the Principal, Director of Facilities, and Business Manager.

The role includes securing the building, cleaning floors, walls, and restrooms, handling waste and recycling, setting up rooms, and assisting with events. Occasional travel between campuses may be required, and the position follows the district's salary schedule for custodians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver's license.
• Experience in cleaning/maintenance desirable.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Check and secure the building at the start/end of shift.
• Clean rooms, restrooms, offices, and other areas per standards.
• Sweep, mop, buff, strip and wax floors; remove graffiti.
• Perform grounds-keeping duties and snow/ice management.
• Receive deliveries and move supplies to classrooms and areas.
