Job summary

Florence Unified School District No. 1 seeks a dedicated facilities custodian to keep school buildings clean, orderly, and safe. You will perform routine cleaning, floor waxing, window washing, and set up spaces for events.

The role requires the ability to work independently, follow schedules, and communicate in English. Prior cleaning experience and a valid Arizona driver’s license are preferred, with physical stamina to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year related cleaning experience preferred.
• AZ Driver's license or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, stairways and locker rooms.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies; dusts furniture and equipment.
• Washes walls, windows, and sills; empties wastebaskets; transports trash to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies and replaces light bulbs.
