CAMPBELL COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT #1 MEADOWLARK ELEMENTARY - Gillette, Wyoming is seeking a Custodian for 6 hours per day across a 260 day school year. The role involves maintaining sanitary and safe facilities, support for events, and basic boiler maintenance.

Starting date is immediate; physical may be required. Salary ranges from $19.59 to $21.41 per hour with benefits typical of the district. Candidates must pass required safety and clearance checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to schedule activities and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience with industrial cleaning and safety procedures.
• Capable of operating cleaning equipment and basic repair tools.

Responsibilities

• Arranges furnishings and equipment for meetings, classroom activities, and events.
• Cleans assigned facilities to maintain a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.
• Distributes supplies and equipment to appropriate parties.
• Inspects facility and equipment to ensure safe operations and identify repairs.
• Maintains coal fired boiler and related equipment.
• Prepares facility for daily operations and snow removal as needed.
• Provides training and direction to community service workers and students.
• Responds to safety and operational concerns and resolves issues.
• Secures facilities and grounds to minimize liability.
