Aramark is seeking a Custodial Manager to oversee daily custodial operations across multiple school district facilities in Grand Rapids. You will lead custodial staff, develop cleaning programs, manage budgets, and ensure safety standards while supporting school activities and events.

The role requires supervisory experience, knowledge of cleaning methods, OSHA regulations, and strong leadership skills. Travel between district facilities and a valid drivers license are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of custodial equipment, cleaning practices, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and work order management systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between district facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee custodial operations across multiple school district facilities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor cleaning schedules, preventative maintenance programs, and quality assurance standards.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and appearance standards.
• Respond to facility-related concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate emergency response activities related to weather events, building incidents, and sanitation needs.
