Job summary

HES Facilities is hiring General Cleaners to maintain cleanliness across educational facilities. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitization, trash removal, and surface cleaning with attention to detail.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and the physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional outdoor duties. Minimum qualifications include a high school degree (preferred but not required) and prior cleaning

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Previous cleaning experience a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and clean assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, remove trash and recycling.
• Clean windows, desks, walls, and other surfaces; perform basic floor care.
• Assist with snow and ice removal and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
