Job summary

HES Facilities Management is hiring a General Cleaner in New Orleans, LA. The role involves cleaning and maintenance of all assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, windows, and common spaces. Shifts available: 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Candidates should have a solid work history, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and pass a background check. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; prior cleaning experience is a plus. HES is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus.
• Physical and Working Conditions: Able to meet physical demands and tolerate a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming and general space cleaning.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms.
• Washing windows and glass surfaces as needed.
• Removing trash and recycling from assigned areas.
• Polishing and maintaining floors and entryways.
