San José Unified School District is seeking a Warehouse team member to manage inventory, receive, store, and distribute materials for schools and district departments. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced educational environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, California driver’s license, forklift certification, and ServSafe certification when assigned to Student Nutrition Services. Typical hours are 6:30am–3:00pm, 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Completion of 12th grade or equivalent.
• California driver's license.
• Forklift certification.
• ServSafe certification when assigned to Student Nutrition Services.

Responsabilités

• Receive, inspect, and organize shipments of supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Fill and prepare orders for delivery to school sites and district departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through established systems.
• Ensure safe handling of materials, including use of forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Monitor product conditions, report damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with district safety standards.
• Assist with deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely and accurate routing.
• Collaborate with team members and departments to support daily operations and customer service needs.
• Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail in all warehouse activities.
