Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires training or experience in law enforcement and/or security
• Knowledge and experience with electronic intrusion detection systems
• Peace Officer Certificate in Texas (TCLEOSE) preferred or required

Responsibilities

• Patrol MISD property as prescribed by the Chief of Police
• Remain on call as a duty officer to respond to alarms
• Respond to alarms or requests for assistance as required
• Prepare and submit written reports of activities and incidents
• Enforce MISD security policies and cooperate with other law enforcement
• Inspect facilities and recommend safety improvements
• Assist investigations and provide incident reports
• Work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays
• Engage with students, teachers, and staff to support safety programs
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
