Job summary

The Goddard School of Marietta (East Cobb), GA is seeking a proactive School Director to oversee daily operations, support educators, and ensure a high‑quality learning environment for children and families. The Director will uphold brand standards, lead staff development, and implement our Wonder of Learning curriculum while building strong school–family–community relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field.
• Experience: at least 2 years teaching in early childhood education and 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices and team leadership.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Love for children and commitment to high-quality education.
• Pass state background checks and meet state education/experience/credential requirements.

• Staff Management: Hire, train, supervise and support staff to build a positive, collaborative team.
• Curriculum and Program Development: Deliver Wonder of Learning program to spark curiosity and growth.

• Financial Management: Manage the budget, enrollment and resources for operational success.
• Health and Safety: Maintain a safe, clean and prepared environment for children, staff and visitors.
