Job summary

New Horizon Academy is seeking a Director to lead a licensed Early Childhood program in a dynamic, supportive environment. You will oversee operations, staff development, and daily instructional quality to deliver outstanding care and education for children.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in ECE or related field with managerial experience; working knowledge of licensing, accreditation standards, and developmentally appropriate assessment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 2 years' experience in a licensed Early Childhood setting.
• 1 year of managerial experience in a licensed Early Childhood setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of state licensing requirements, National Accreditation guidelines, and developmentally appropriate assessment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a licensed early childhood program, ensuring high-quality instruction and compliance.
• Oversee staff development, scheduling, and daily operations to create a positive learning environment.
• Partner with leadership to uphold licensing standards and accreditation guidelines.

Potential Directors should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 2 years' experience in a licensed Early Childhood setting.
• 1 year of managerial experience in a licensed Early Childhood setting preferred.
• Have working knowledge of state specific licensing requirements, National Accreditation guidelines, and early childhood development teaching and assessment strategies.

Salary range: $62,000-$68,000/year

Compensation includes monthly bonus potential based on performance of the school
