Qualifications

• Performs cashiering duties and customer interactions in a school dining setting.
• Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service and dining areas.
• Demonstrates accurate cash handling and transaction recording.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations following safety standards.
• Stores foods with proper wrapping, dating and rotation. Maintains cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Uses recipes and portions to maintain quality and serving temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and handles transactions at the cash register."
• Relays information to supervisor and handles cash refunds and change funds.
• Replenishes condiments and supplies while keeping service area clean.
