Job summary

The Budd Group is hiring a School Custodian for Union County Schools in Union, SC. This on-site, part-time role runs Monday through Friday, 3 PM to 7 PM, with no weekends and a starting pay of $11.00 per hour.

You’ll perform general cleaning, maintain a clean and safe school environment, and support restroom and public area upkeep. Training is provided; prior janitorial experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, trash collection, and sanitizing high-touch areas.

• Serve as a lead cleaner for restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas as assigned by supervisor.

What You'll Do

As our newest School Custodian, you'll be the hero of the hallways! Your main goal as a Janitor is to keep the school environment safe, healthy, and tidy for students and staff.

• Perform general Cleaner duties like dusting, vacuuming, pulling trash, and sanitizing touchpoints.
• Keep the Custodian closet organized and restock restrooms so they are fully prepped for each day.
• Serve as a lead Cleaner for restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas as assigned by your supervisor.

• Previous Janitor or commercial facility cleaning experience is a plus, but not required—we will fully train you!
