Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior customer service experience
• One (1) year of prior similar work experience

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned areas, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors
• Check and empty trash receptacles regularly
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
• Report repairs or system issues to the lead cleaner or manager
• Establish effective communication with clients, co-workers, and supervisors
• Manage recycling and waste segregation
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceilings, and walls
• Polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless steel
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning
• Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors
• Perform seasonal tasks like sweeping walks, raking leaves, mowing, and snow removal
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and supplies
• Follow all safety, security, and compliance procedures
