Job summary

SSC Services for Education, a nationwide facility service provider and member of Compass Group, is hiring for full-time JANITOR positions at Rogers Public Schools in Lowell, AR 72745, with openings at other locations within the district. Job duties include keeping buildings clean and orderly, performing heavy cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, moving furniture, and following infection control procedures.

Schedule is full-time with nights and mid-shifts. Prior janitorial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience is preferred.
• Must be able to perform cleaning duties.
• Schedule may vary; nights and mid-shifts.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning: floors, rugs, walls, rubbish.
• Disposes waste following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and places back.
• Cleans areas with designated materials and sanitizes surfaces.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team and maintains professionalism.
