Job summary

Bellevue School District is seeking a Custodian Swing Shift for the Cherry Crest/Jing Mei sites. Immediate start, 40 hours per week, 260‑day assignment, union‑bid position under a collective bargaining agreement.

The role involves cleaning floors, restrooms, offices and classrooms; moving furniture for events; minor maintenance; and building security. Requires HS diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Washington state employment guidelines apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or demonstrated reading/writing skills.
• One year of public school experience (preferred).
• Two years of verifiable custodial experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and scrub floors and clean furniture and fixtures.
• Disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Move furniture and set up spaces for events.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and recycle; maintain grounds.
• Perform minor maintenance and report issues.
• Secure the building and operate alarms.
