Job summary

Williamsport Area School District is seeking substitute and part-time/full-time custodial workers to maintain safe and clean facilities. Shifts include first, second, and third; substitutes cover either shift.

Wages align with the current collective bargaining agreement: $15.25/hour for substitutes and $21.41/hour for part-time and full-time custodians. A high school diploma or GED is required, with background checks and health clearances at the applicant’s expense.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions; proficient in MS Word and maintenance software.
• Ability to operate building systems safely and work with maintenance staff.
• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties as assigned.
• Prepares building for daily operations.
• Cleans and disinfects classrooms, cafeterias, restrooms, and locker rooms.
• Restocks bathroom supplies daily.
• Maintains cleaning equipment and reports repairs.
• Assists with events and daily operations.
