Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking a School Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment for children across our centers. You will perform custodial duties in classrooms, hallways, and restrooms, and follow safety policies.

We value teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail. The role requires physical stamina (lifting up to 50 lbs), basic English communication, and the ability to handle cleaning products safely. Join our nationwide network of caring teams.

Qualifications

• At least one year of janitorial experience or an equivalent combination of experience/education.
• Work safely with chemicals, cleaning materials, dust and noise.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Ability to transport products and equipment between rooms.
• Physical activities include lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, climbing, twisting, walking.
• Read, write and follow oral/written directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in classrooms, floors, restrooms and hallways.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use chemicals safely per instructions.
• Collect and dispose of garbage and waste according to policies.
