Job summary

ABM is seeking a reliable School Custodian to perform general cleaning duties at a K-12 school, college or university campus environment. The role offers a pay rate of $13.00 per hour and a schedule from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with benefits information available through ABM Employee Benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required and on-the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways.
• Sweep, mop floors, and remove debris in designated areas.
• Regularly empty trash and manage recycling in all designated areas.
• Follow safety and chemical handling procedures to protect floors and fixtures.
• Notify supervisor about repairs or maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas.
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively with staff and supervisors.
