Job summary

Warren County School District is seeking a Custodian Level I to provide custodial services at assigned sites, ensuring a sanitary, safe and attractive environment for students and staff. The role includes cleaning classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and performing routine maintenance to prepare facilities for daily activities and events.

The position requires the ability to operate custodial equipment, follow safety procedures, handle supplies, and coordinate with the lead custodian and school

Qualifications

• OPERATE custodial equipment and power tools as required.
• FOLLOW safety practices and procedures in all tasks.
• HANDLE hazardous materials according to regulations.
• PLAN and manage routine tasks and schedules with lead custodian.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings and grounds neat and clean at all times.
• Cleans classrooms, corridors, and restrooms daily as needed.
• Assists in cleaning and maintaining windows and fixtures.
• Reports major repairs or damage to the lead custodian or principal.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and requisitions replacements in advance.
• Performs summer maintenance and prepares facilities for daily operations.
