Qualifications

• Knowledge of modern cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Understanding of standard building and grounds maintenance practices.
• Ability to perform routine electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read and write at the 10th-grade level.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Physical strength to lift 50+ lbs.
• Ability to work harmoniously with students, staff and the public.
• Demonstrated high moral standards for work around children.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and related work in the school facilities.
• Assist in maintaining buildings to ensure they are ready for educational use.
• Help keep facilities in good operating order for ongoing use.
