ABM is seeking a reliable School Custodian to perform general cleaning duties across classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas in a K-12 campus setting. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• Preferred: Prior customer service experience.
• Preferred: One year of prior similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned area, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways.
• Sweep, remove debris, mop floors in designated areas and manage spills.
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain recycling.
• Follow safety procedures for cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Communicate with lead cleaner or manager about repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
