Job summary

Auxilio is seeking a reliable Custodian to maintain clean, safe school facilities. You will perform daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, restock supplies, and report maintenance needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work with cleaning chemicals. Prior cleaning experience is preferred. You will follow safety guidelines and FERPA requirements while supporting school events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver License required.
• Minimum 3 months of cleaning experience preferred.
• Subject to Background Check and Drug Screen.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical strength.
• Ability to read basic operating instructions.
• Ability to cooperate with other staff members.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
• Dependability and punctuality required.
• Ability to respond to emergencies in support of students and school operations.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas daily including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Restocks supplies and maintains clean, organized work areas.
• Performs minor repairs and reports major maintenance to management.
• Follows safety guidelines and FERPA requirements.
• Keeps doors and windows secure and turns off non-essential lights.
• Supports school events and community activities as needed.
