Job summary

Pulaski County Special School District—Robinson High School in Little Rock, AR is hiring a General Custodian. Starting date immediately; salary range $15.00 to $21.06 per hour, 182 contract days, 8 hours per day. Reports to the Building Principal.

Qualifications include experience in custodial work or willingness to learn and ability to perform physical labor. Responsibilities include scrubbing floors, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, grounds care, moving furniture, and working at heights.

Qualifications

• Ability to do physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, mop, wax, and polish floors as needed.
• Vacuum and clean carpet.
• Dust and polish furniture, wash windows, woodwork, venetian blinds, and bathrooms.
• Responsible for removal of trash from assigned areas.
• Clean up grounds and perform the routine tasks required in the care of the grounds.
• Move office and school furniture as needed.
• Perform work at varying heights on a ladder.
• Perform some heavy lifting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
