Job summary

Anthony’s Janitorial & Maintenance INC. is seeking dedicated janitors to keep our facilities safe, sanitary, and pristine for students and staff. Evening shifts with part-time or full-time options offer flexible schedules and opportunities to contribute to a clean school environment.

Responsibilities include floor care, classroom cleaning, sanitization of restrooms and break rooms, waste management, and restocking supplies while adhering to safety guidelines and reporting shortages.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning or custodial experience is a plus.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read safety labels and follow verbal or written instructions.
• Getting along and working with others.
• Strong independent problem-solving skills and reliability.
• Strong work ethic and reliable transportation to job site.
• Clean background check (required for working around children).

Responsibilities

• Floor care: sweep, mop, vacuum, and occasionally operate basic floor scrubbers.
• Clean classrooms and common hallways.
• Sanitization: clean and disinfect high-traffic areas, restrooms, break rooms, water fountains.
• Waste management: empty indoor trash cans and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Restocking: keep soap, paper towels, and toilet paper stocked daily.
• Safety rules: follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals safely.

Anthony’s Janitorial & Maintenance INC. is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Janitors to keep our facilities safe, sanitary, and pristine for students and staff.

Monday to Friday

Part-Time 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Full-Time 6:00 PM – 2:00AM

In this role, you will be the backbone of our facility, ensuring our environment stays clean, sanitary, and safe for everyone.

You will work mostly independent evening hours to prepare the building for the next school day.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning or custodial experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right people.
• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
• Ability to read basic safety labels and follow verbal or written instructions.
• Getting along and working with others
• Strong independent problem-solving skills, and reliability.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and must have reliable transportation to the job site.
• Clean background check (required for working around children).
