Job summary

Anthony’s Janitorial & Maintenance INC. is seeking dedicated custodians to keep schools clean, safe, and sanitary for students, staff, and visitors. You’ll work mostly independently in the evening shift, preparing the building for the next day and ensuring a pristine environment.

Part-time or full-time opportunities are available, with evening hours from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The role offers a signing bonus after 3 months and a chance to contribute to a reliable night-time

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliable transportation to the job site.
• Previous cleaning or custodial experience is a plus, but training is provided.
• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read basic safety labels and follow instructions.
• Getting along and working with others.
• Strong independent problem-solving skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Floor care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and operate basic floor equipment.
• Classrooms: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty trash.
• Sanitization: Clean and disinfect restrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Waste management: Empty trash and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Restocking: Keep soap, paper towels, and toilet paper stocked daily.
• Safety: Follow all safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals.

Anthony’s Janitorial & Maintenance INC. is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Custodians to keep our facilities safe, sanitary, and pristine for students, staff and visitors.

Monday to Friday

Part-Time 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Full-Time 6:00 PM - 2:00AM

In this role, you will be the backbone of our facility, ensuring our environment stays clean, sanitary, and safe for everyone.

You will work mostly independent evening hours to prepare the building for the next school day.

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and must have reliable transportation to the job site.
• Previous cleaning or custodial experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right people.
• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
• Ability to read basic safety labels and follow verbal or written instructions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and on occasion operate basic floor scrubbers or buffers.
• Classrooms: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and empty trash cans
• Sanitization: Clean and disinfect high-traffic areas, break rooms, water fountains and all restrooms.
• Waste Management: Empty indoor trash cans (Hallways, and Restrooms) and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Restocking: Keep soap, paper towels, and toilet paper fully stocked daily and report shortages.
• Safety Rules: Follow all safety guidelines, handling cleaning chemicals precisely and safely.
