Job summary

The West Shore School District seeks a Custodian III for the Red Land High School Natatorium in Lewisberry, PA. This Level 3 role is 8 hours/day, 249 days/year, with first shift hours 6:30 am–3:00 pm, Monday–Friday, and occasional after-hours coverage.

You’ll clean, launder towels, and keep the pool area safe in a hot, humid environment. You will work with staff to maintain classrooms, restrooms, and common areas, perform inspections, and handle minor repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and a valid Class C driver’s license are required.
• Ability to perform routine custodial tasks without supervision.
• Experience with pool area cleaning and chemical safety is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool area during school hours.
• Launder and fold towels and swimsuits for students.
• Perform basic maintenance and respond to spills or urgent clean-ups.
• Inspect facilities for hazards and coordinate with maintenance staff as needed.
• Stock custodial supplies and operate cleaning equipment.
