Job summary

Warren County School District is seeking a Custodian Level I to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment across assigned school sites. You will clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and keep walkways free of debris, supporting daily operations and campus events.

Attention to safety, reliable attendance, and teamwork with facilities staff are essential. Experience with custodial equipment and adherence to district policies are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience operating custodial equipment and following safety practices.
• Ability to read and understand English manuals and instructions.
• Ability to plan and manage custodial tasks and respond to safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings and grounds neat and clean at all times.
• Locks custodial and mechanical rooms when not in use.
• Sweeps classrooms daily and dusts furniture.
• Disinfects toilets and fixtures daily; cleans floors.
• Reports major repairs to the lead custodian as needed.
• Cross trains on equipment used by the custodial department.
