Harford County Public Schools invites applications for a Custodian I (Shift 2) at Abingdon Elementary School. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum ninth grade education required; testing may assess reading/understanding/work procedures.
One year of custodial or related experience preferred.
Physically able to perform essential duties including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders.
Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Sweep, mop, and clean floors, walls, and lavatories; dispose of trash.
Move furniture and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Assist in snow removal and lawn/playground maintenance.
Respond to emergency situations and follow safety procedures.
